Tart, dry and floral, this simple syrup makes lovely drinks for hot summer days and its cool breezy nights.

For a non-alcoholic breezy refresher: Add 1 ounce of syrup to an 8 ounce glass of seltzer filled with crushed ice, squeeze in juice of 1/4 fresh lime. Stir and enjoy.

For a stunning Margarita: To a cocktail shaker filled 3/4 with ice, add 2 ounces blanco tequila, 1 ounce of Cointreau (or triple sec), 1 ounce of fresh lime juice, and 1.5 ounces of hibiscus simple syrup. Shake until outside of shaker is frosty. Pour into glasses rimmed with Makrut Lime Sea Salt. Garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy, but start making more immediately.

Also try syrup with with gin, prosecco, and elderflower liqueur cocktails. Wonderful brunch companions!

Make syrup extra thick as an amusing drizzle on super premium vanilla ice cream.

Experiment with this syrup by adding rose petals, cardamom, allspice and more.
