Our Black Lampong Peppercorns come from Sumatra, Indonesia, where the berries are left to ripen on the vine before being harvested and sun-dried. Lampong peppercorns are slightly smaller than standard black peppercorns but deliver a bold, assertive flavor. Their compact size and intensity make them well suited for grinding fresh in a pepper mill when a more pronounced pepper presence is desired.
